Could not take it any longer, had to get out on the water, have not been in the boat 2x since the start of deer season. Not the best of conditions today, but it was nice to be out with my pops. The water was pretty cloudy, the current was ripping, the temps were around 34 when we started (water temp 46), fished for 2 hours on a couple of bluffs where we could find a current break/eddies. Caught 9 crappie, kept 5 for dinner tonight, largest was 13.25 inches, all 5 for dinner were 11 inch or better, did not catch a short in the bunch.<br /><br />Caught one nice little smallie 15&quot;<br /><br />All fish were deep against the structure, 10-12 count w 1/16 oz heads. Did better with darker colored (chart/black, black/red) bodies.<br /><br />Had to leave a little earlier than we wanted, my pops got a phone call from a guy doing some back-hoe work at his house, hit a water line...<br /><br />Can&#39;t wait to go again.<br /><br />
