Well my bank fishing loines were begging to be satisfied since the last couple times I've been were by boat... emoScratch . LOL!!! Anyway I went lake side and fished a couple spots that I thought may hold some fish but was not cooperative. I headed down below the dam to give it a go and to my surprise I looked up and flying upstream towards me is a bonified bald eagle!!! He perched himself directly across the river from me and was scoping out the waters below. This is the first one I've seen up here in about 6 years. He hung out for a bit then flew back downstream. I wasn't having any luck so headed his way. No more luck and I saw him fly back up and he perched again back at the spot. I took pics with my phone but you can't see him in it. It was a beautiful sight and the dam was flooding. Never seen it up close like that and it made for a great day. Pulled a zero for fish but still a nice day. I used cranks, spinnerbaits, traps, pig n jig, worms, and even tried for crappie.
