<br /> made another short trip today from about 330 to 530.. still is slow but the quality is there..Water still very high but is coming down and the flow was a little bit slower. Had one bite all day and it was a good one... Measured 20 5/8 and was 15 1/8 girth according to the calculations it was 5.33 lbs.. He was a beast to get in man do these smallies fight good in the current.. Fish came on 1 oz purple and green pumpkin jig with a green pumpkin chigger craw as a trailer.. Fish was sitting in an area that is usually land in a nice eddy.. He hammered the jig as it was swum back towards the boat.. the dog and the Son tagged along today but he mostly just played his games and drove the boat.. Was nice having some company.. Not sure whats up with the numbers but hopefully it picks up soon.. I guess thats winter for ya but at least the fish i have been catching are good ens..
