Hello Everyone,

I hit the lake at first light the day after Christmas. First I started to troll Boulder Beach. I hooked up with a 2.5 and then a 3.5 pounder.

Then a little while later I hooked up again this time an 8 pounder!

Then I started to troll some more. All of a sudden my rod bent over almost touching the water and the the drag was screaming a beautiful song. I stood up, grabbed the rod set the hook and looked out the back of the boat an saw a massive Explosion on top of the water!!! The fight is on who will win the Striper or the fisherman? Answer the fisherman! After a great battle I landed the fish in the boat the largest one I have caught above the Dam. I quickly un hooked the fish and weighed it. Took this quick pic with cell phone. Another fisherman took a pic with me holding this beast. She hit the scale at 23 pounds. Put here back in the water and trolled slowly until she was strong enough to swim away so some one else will get the thrill I did. All fish were released this Day.

I just got some new trout baits for x-mas, and this is the motivation I needed to get out there and spend the time putting them to work!
