Fished below the Confluence and above Currant Creek today and caught 8 macks in about 3.5 hours. Had others on and lost them at the hole and missed a couple too. Ice was about a foot thick.

From Currant Creek to Squaw Hollow the lake is now completely frozen from what I could tell but was open last Saturday, so I would be careful before venturing out on this section of lake.

There is still open water off from Brinegar and on down to Anvil. Some ice on lake here. It will be another week if it stays cold.

it was 1in at holmes today and the wind started geting it so it wont last long with the W.[frown]. when you say mack's your talking dinks?or are you talking real mack's?

Dinks really. I didnt measure them, but the biggest was about 22-24" long. Just pups. But you never know when a real one will come through. Caught a 37" last year near Holmes.
