Holmes Creek has very little water. Not too sure if it is worth fishing. I havent heard anything about Bountiful, but I am sure that it is probably frozen with the temps we have had. Never ice fished B. Lake. Let us know how you do if you end up going.

Aaron, throw some PFDs on your kids if you have some.

Aaron, Holmes Creek has about 6 inches of ice. The edges are soft (because the water is raising), so make your first step a long one. In 4 hours of fishing today I caught 8 rainbows, 2 perch and a largemouth bass and Billy did about the same. Nothing huge, but still nice to get out for awhile. The water is lower than normal but it is still at least 22' deep in the channel.

Hey Kent,
Thanks for the info on Holmes Creek. I will definitely hit it soon. Its good to know that there is good ice fishing on a water closer to my house. I went to Pineview today with my two older boys. We had a good time catching about 30-35 perch.
Thanks!
Aaron

I hit Bountiful for about an hour yesterday with my boys and my nephew. Ice is about 5-6" thick and the bite was decent. We had several bites and ended up with two bows in the hour we were there. Fished about 50 yards off of the boat ramp in about 9' of water.

If your finding 22' then it is not much lower than most years. In the years I have fished it in the winter, that's only about 3' lower than what I have found.
