Hit he harbor early, banged a nice gill right of the bat and thought it was going to be a good day. Not another bite the rest of the morning, We moved out of the harbor over by the warm springs, but also a no go. Could not find the whities today. Bummer, the last 2 trips out with my son and no fish for him, I've got to redeem myself and get him on some fish. Were to go next?

if you just want to get into some fish for your son and not worry about the size, pineview is a good place. right by the cemetary in 10-20 feet of water using small jigs with perch meat or a wax worm till you get perch for some bait. put the jig right off the bottom. not much size to them, between 4"-6".. but you cant keep them off the line. bigger perch are hangin around the 30-40 foot range which isnt too much farther out
