Anyone know where I can pick up some white tail jacks??? You know. the ones that turn white in the winter, have black tipped ears and are larger than regular jacks. Not snow shoes, ok?

I think the only place I've ever seen them was up on Sourdough, that was probably 25 years ago. You have to know someone who owns a lot up there to get on the place.

I have seen a few on the road up to Woodruff res.

Try between Randolph and the Bear Lake Valley. Get up in the rolling hills of sage. I haven't been up there for a few years, but a friend went up a couple of years ago and got a few.

I have eaten them in past as well, pretty good.

When I lived out in Vernal I used to see a few around the valley and some up on Diamond Mtn. On Diamond Mtn they would sit in the middle of the road at night, but we could never find them during the day.
