Me and a small group of people are going to fire hole to try our luck on the burbots. This being the first time to fire hole I am looking for some info on how the fishing is, Ice conditions, ect.. Any help would be great, Thanks!

The ice is no problem and the burbot seem to be biting more but I found more burbot in places that aren't being overfished. Places I didn't think the burbot would be...

Fire hole and Lost Dog are getting hit hard. You can tell by all the trash left behind on the ice, especially at Lost Dog. I went to a place north of Buckboard, I don't know what it's called, and was able to find plenty of burbot and no evidence of other fishermen. Almost every hole I drilled during the day caught burbot at night.

Nice, Im glad to see people are just as trashy on the ice as they are off. I cant count how many times I have walked the bank picking up garbage!!
