The award-winning Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen television series will start airing again in early 2010 in homes throughout Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and parts of Illinois, Michigan, Kansas, and Canada on network stations and cable carriers, and throughout North America on satellite systems. Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen is entering its eighteenth year of providing fishing information and entertainment to anglers.
In a recent interview, Bob Jensen, host and executive producer of Fishing the Midwest, stated that, "In the first quarter of 2010 Fishing the Midwest will continue to do what we've done for the past almost twenty years: We'll be showing Midwest anglers how and where to catch more and bigger fish close to home. Now more than ever, anglers want to know where to go to experience outstanding fishing without extensive travel or time commitments. On Fishing the Midwest, we'll show those anglers how and where to take advantage of the outstanding fishing opportunities that are available in the Midwest."
Jensen continued, "Fishing the Midwest is more than a couple of guys swinging fish over the side of the boat. We tell what we're doing to make those fish bite, and we also like to tell a story about our guests. For instance, this year one of our guests will be Terry Fitzpatrick. Terry works at the Cabela's store in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and qualified for the BassMaster Classic tournament through the Federation. We'll tell Terry's story."
Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen continues to be one of the highest-rated and most popular outdoor television shows available to anglers. Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen is recognized as a leader in incorporating production qualities of the highest level into an outdoor television series that includes information and entertainment.
