I had such a wonderful afternoon today. The weather was nice witha little east breeze so when I asked my wife, Gloria, to go with me today I was so blessed when she said yes. So we drove up to Burley to try out a pond that is supposed to have some bluegill.

We met a very helpfull gentleman that we fished with for about an hour, by the name of Phillip. He was ablessing and even told us of a another pond up there that has some perch. Thanks Pillip.

Gloria had a great time and said she will go again, thank you Lord.

So how did you do? Been seeing some steady traffic out there well the first two ponds anyway I'm guessing the third pond he told you about was further east [Wink]

3 pan size trout. There's one on the ice and the others were the same. Yes the other pond is to the east. When we checked it out it looked like it had one visiter so far. Sure hope it has some perch.

That is great that your wife was able to get out with you today. It is always more fun when your wife is supportive. I am also blessed with a very supportive wife.

Christmas day I was driving home from my parents and saw some guys out there. One guy was pulling out a really nice one. Glad you had a great time. We almost headed down there to try Walcott, but ended up at Sandy Bay instead.

If I might ask, anything in particular the fish were hitting on at the pond by Burley? I have yet to fish it this year as I have spent all my ice fishing days out at the Dam.

Couple friends and I fished the above mentioned pond here in Burley. We fished 2 hours caught probably 20 fish. All were planter size but the last fish caught measured 18 inches. The bite was light and we missed a bunch. We had a blast.
