I just heard an 8 pound 2 ounce smallmouth was caught from Jordanelle. They said it was officially weighed by the DWR and released. Anyone have any more details?. I mean WOW. I would rather catch a huge smallie than anything. I wonder if it will be the overall record since it was officially weighed and measured?.

Some guys at Anglers inn in SLC were talking about that fish last week. I heard it was a guy that works at anglers, but he is keeping tight mouthed about it, because supposedly and once again supposedly the area at Jordanelle he is fishing is a area with quite a few big uns'!!!
