Arrived at DC before sun up and got out on the ice to drill some holes. Drilled a bunch and tryed to locate some on the flasher. Had a few show up here and there but with hardly any success. Had one bite around ten thirty using a meal worm and a white grub. Another guy we talked to had three rainbows on the ice using the same thing along with some perch meat. All the rainbows that he'd caught had what looked like two to three inch perch fingers inside the bellies.

Not to give away too many secrests, but perch meat works well at DC, Echo, and Rockport. Usually put a little strip with a wax worm to give it to them alamode style. []

I fished near the island this morning and had similar slow results.
