[Smile]My friend and I fished the Weber below Spring Chicken Inn Tuesday. The fish were not very cooperative. We landed about a dozen between the two of us. Our best bugs were scuds and midge pupae.
[:/]The river turned dirty and we could see the problem right away. A new bridge is being installed where I-80 crosses over the River. We landed just one more trout with a SJW.
[shocked]Anyway the real story is that my good friend left his fly-rod on the snow bank in the parking lot at Wanship Rail Trail head. My buddy lives in SLC and did not know the rod was missing until he opened the case to clean his line.
[unimpressed]He called me around six-thirty, four hours since we left the Weber. I raced back to the Wanship parking lot as I live just a short seven miles away. No sign of the rod but I did find a note; "Lost fly-rod? Call and identify".
[Wink]Well all is well that ends well. What a pleasant ending to a fishing trip. There are good and honest people in this world. Thanks again Honest John.
