Hit the ice with a buddy at about 8 or so. We sevearly underestimated the hike we were going to make so we got to a late start. We were on the south side if the lake basically half way between the dam and the state park. Started in 15 ft of water with a few small takes. Moved to 8 ft about a half hour into the day and started getting some big hits! Caught 2 17-18 inchers in the span of only a couple minutes. Broke off three other nice fish. We were getting light bites consistantly as well until about 10:30 or so. Caught a couple of small bows before we had to pack up. I missed a lot of fish today. That light bite kind of worked me over. All fish landed were bows. Sorry no pics.
