I am up for anything that would open up more of the reservoir. It dose not matter to me if they allow vehicles or not.I am on foot but it would be ok if the let people use what ever vehicles they wanted. It would be nice to have more room so people could really spread out if they want to. As for the maintenance it could use some help. That is my two cents

The restrooms last Wed. were actually quite clean...it only takes one slob to make the place look like a war zone.

Snowmobiles and ATVs are ok with me but need strict and large fines for leaving the ice or bothering big game animals. Have a speed limit. Even limit them so they can be seen from the parking lot. They could have the same apply at blacktail. Open the whole lake to ice fishing and give everyone a better fishing experience and reduce the impact in one small area. If people wanted to they could snowmobile down the road above the reservoir and probally drop in to it to harass the big game. The bathrooms are ok about 1/2 of the time. Some people are slobs and do not take care of things. I like some ice behind the center by the parked trucks so the sled does not hit the road going to the ramp. Is the lake closed if you choose to hike or ski from Juniper to Blacktail?

I would really like to see the entire reservoir opened to ice fishing or even half would be good. Stopping all vehicles at the 1 mile mark or where the res narrows at about 1.5 miles would be fine. There are just to many people fishing for that small area. If we are going to pay, they better have the place plowed and restrooms cleaned. They also need to look into making a trail for 4 wheelers and people to walk that is snow covered to make it easier to drag the sleds on. That pavement will tear a sled up in no time flat.
The statement in the post register makes me think that the county only cares about the money and nothing else. I have spent a lot of money in the IF area and travel from Blackfoot to fish Ririe. I have fished it 7 times this year alone. I know people in IF fish it more just because of the convenience factor and also the kokes. Seems the person running things for the county needs either an attitude adjustment or a new job in the unemployment line.

so we all pretty much agree on what needs to be done so lets figure out how to do it do we need to go around and have a petition signed cause im ok with bringing a petition out on the ice on a weekend and walking around to have it signed by people. or do we all just need to call the county one day. i mean like flood there office with phone calls

The results when I try to see them come up under the adds, is there a way to see the results over the top of the adds on the right?

I would like to see the boundaries stay right where they are. It's nice to have some untouched fishery saved for when the ice goes out. I see the crowds growing exponentially as they open the lake from one end to the other with more litter and less fish. I can't really see the year round positives from that.

less than 300 people on a mile of ice sounds pretty positive to me. but you do have a valid point.
