Ordered a one-day Idaho fishing license online on 1/15/10 to be valid on 1/16/10. The instructions stated that one's receipt would be valid for fishing. Today, I received the hard copy of the license in the mail![unimpressed]

Too Funny....and they call us U tards!
I went up there with my father in law, last summer. We both purchased our licenses for the day and headed out. We ended up getting checked and he could not find it, after looking everwhere for about 5 minutes, the CO wrote a sitation, but said they would be able to see if he had purchased one through there computers and it would work out. We quit fishing and headed back to the store to get a reprint, got one and headed back out. Well a few weeks later he went to court, with his reprint and the judge said "Nope you should of had it when you were checked." They collected $120, I think.
Now, I can't get him to go up there at all. He would have spent well over the $120 in liscense fees, not to mention all the other stuff he buys up there.

Yea, you could have bought a season permit (JANUARY 1st to DECEMBER 31st) AND that invasive species sticker for that $120. and been set for the whole year[

That is pretty funny. They should really look into that, what a waste.
