Arrived at Rainbow Bay at dark thirty. Parked at the rest rooms. Went down the easy trail to the ice. Then went north west to the point and found 55 feet of water. Managed to hook a few; Perch that is. Some 6-10 inchers and a lot of 4 inchers. The slush monster is alive and well. I thought strikes for us would be coming out to fish for rainbows but I guess he fished over yonder. Took a few pictures. Caught most of the Perch on Tube Dudes fat finkies.

nice fishin i was in about that samespot on thursday and we caught 9 perch all of them 4- 8inches caught one that was 10 or 11 but that slush is horrible if your dragging a shack. we were using little iceflies and rat finkees

my brother an I were just south of you I belive. We got there and saw 2 people on the ice, so one had to be you!
We hit a bunch of small perch too, and had a few trout hits and only landed one. It was a nice warm day. Heading out again tomorrow morning...

Sorry Pikeman, I knew the area you had mentioned, I thouht the walk through the slush might be to far for Jon. When I went to the boat ramp and saw how close to the ice we could park and had a nice hard packed trail, I did'nt bother going to rainbow bay. If you had told me YOU[:p] were going to be there I would have gone there first![cool] We would love to hook up with you again some time. Thinking about next sunday, not sure where.
