Would appreciate any feedback about launching out of the North Marina this weekend (7/19-20) and how was the fishing success. Thanks in advance.

here is part of a post by BLM he launched from the south marina which they say is deeper then the north funky dont know why it pasted like that he went on to say fishing was good along the north dike catching limits for himself and partner be safe and good luck

Went to Willard today and launched out of south marina. I believe I've fished my last trip to Willard until more water comes in. The south marina has less than 12" in places. I pulled the boat out to the dredged channel by hand. Slogging through 12"-18" of mud with 12" of water on it was a pain in the rear. The bottom of the boat was dragging bottom in a place or two. Not good.

Once we got out on the lake everything went smoothly. You can see the island poking out of the water by a foot or more. It would be a great place to set up a sun shade to hag out and water ski from. Your very own island

Both north and south are open, I have launched from both. Min depth 4 plus, so no prob. with anything but a huge boat
