Went up to Rockport this morning, air temps was -0 at 7:00..
As I sat on the boat ramp I watched a coyote on the ice going from hole to ice hole looking for left overs...
I headed out on the ice at 7:30 and stopped at one spot the coyote seemed to like and put two holes in the ice for both rods...In about 5 min. or so I got a small bow on one pole then had to grab the other, two bow both about 10" or so...
I was waiting for a few others to get there, it seemed that the trout was coming around about every 10 to 15 min. or so and take the bait on both rods.. The others got on the ice about 8:30 and we all had the same bites every 15 or so..
No big fish or any perch just a few small bows headed home at 11:30...
