zero!
Nothing that I saw was caught. I ran into several anglers throwing the trout plug with no hits. One group was out since 0400 and said the flows were up and the ramp was nearly covered with water. Saw pods of rainbows free swimming with out any stripers. None the less was a good day to be out, sun was up, minimal breeze, good company, and got to see birds of prey snacking on trouts. Hopefully better luck next time.

Yeah, it looks to be just about DEAD everywhere. I've been hitting lake mead for nothin the past few days.

I ran into BigE yesterday, and he had similar results.

I talked to a guide, and he said they got a 7 pounder, but that they had to work all day for it.

I saw a few fish blowin up on the surface off boulder beach, but no takers when I was within casting distance.

I talked to a guy who fished all over, and he got a 2 pounder by the dam on an anchovy, and another in the vegas wash on a small shad swimbait.

A fishin buddy of mine caught and released 7 trout in the harbor off the pier early on friday, and there were a few big schools of trout swimming by the launch ramp around sunset.

I also heard that a 26 pounder was taken over by crawdad cove a couple days ago.

Thats my fishing report for the week of January 24th-30th

I skipped the Mead deal and went to boulder city for the trout stocking. Got there at 6:40 am. Only one other fisherman there. watched him get 2 or three then nothing till 8:30. The bite was soft and the fish had little fight.

Fished the power egg on a water filled bubble and an orange power worm. Yellow fished better latter. Most fish were so stunted and clipped that there was little or no fight. Only saw about 10 fisherman. Cormands(sp) got about 30 fish.
