The lake is now up almost 12 ft, as of now it's at 1083.9 and the water temps are ranging from 43-46. The water has a good stain on the lower end and is trashed up river. Surface Vis may be 4-5ft at best in the lower end. Out today from 11:00-4:00 today w/ fishnvol. I wanted to get out and look for more schools to work with through the week on my trips. We found 3 areas that were holding good numbers of fish. In one particular area we caught catfish, white bass, yellow bass, and spots on consecutive drops. Ofcourse Fishnvol is the greatest junk fisherman in the south so I'm not so sure the trash fish will be there next time or if he was just showing off.?.?.?

All our fish were relating to Shad ranging from 45-60ft deep, most were in open water. We used spoons, drops shots and jig head flukes today. Our best five spots weighed between 10-11lbs. All in all a fun few hours on the water.

On a side note, we met "Fishnut" from the CFF Forum at the ramp this afternoon as we were attempting to leave. Thankfully he had a small portable air compressor I burrowed, as we had a good ole flat tire on the truck. Thanks Fishnut for the help. Look forward to hearing from you.

If anyone is interested in getting out to do some sight/sonar fishing drop me a line, I've got a few days open this month. Also adding more and more stuff to my site so please check it out from time to time. I'll be adding details (payout formats, rules etc) for the "Allatoona Friday Night Tournaments" Bill and I are holding this summer soon.

LB
