Has anyone been up to Huntington in the last few days? Looking for an ice, snow and slush report.

well this is a week old or so. 24 inchs of snow 2 to 4 inchs of slush on top of 36 to 40 inchs of ice and shush layers.. ya need a power auger to get all the way through the ice.. a hand auger is not long enough to get all the way through the ice...

Fuzzy, hey thank you for that info. Im sure it has not changed much but possibly worse over the last week.

Sooooo armed witht that valuable info, we will have to change the destination.

well i did not mean to discurage ya.[:/]. there is E-lake close by i hear it's only about 24 inchs of ice and very little slush.. the wind blows most the snow off there before to turns to slush..

No problem Fuzzy, you did not discourge me, you gave me the info I needed to make and informed choice.

Im too old fat and tired to trudge thru slush and deep snow. Its been warm and snowed more since a week ago and Im sure its not better now.
