Hi, This is about the first shark trip for Wade, Scott, & Joe, @ the mudhole

in a 22' Grady. We had great weather conditions , went out on 7-19-2003,

and 40 min's into the trip caught a 4' blue shark (they can reach around

and bite @ their own tail). Several hours later, a 6' mako grabbed two baits

but Scott & Joe got her boatside and subdued without too much trouble.

Had several run off's and then I caught a 5' blue shark, which was released

at boatside. We ended the trip with Joe catching a 5' mako, which put up a fantastic fight for 25 min's, and was also released.

If you are looking for an exciting trip, try going out for sharks!

Happy fishing, Wade

YOU BET THEY ARE !

I WAS FISHING SEVERAL MILES INLAND IN MAINE FOR SOME PICKREL , MADE A CAST WITH MY ZEBCO 202 , AND GOT THE SURPRISE OF MY YOUNG LIFE ( 8 OR 9 AT THE TIME ) A THREE FOOT SAND SHARK !

I GUESS IT'S NOT UNCOMMON FOR THEM TO GO A FEW MILES IN FROM TIME TO TIME , BUT I NEVER WENT SWIMMING THERE AGAIN .
