So I ended up purchasing a year license since I enjoyed ice fishing S.E. Idaho. Just wondering what lakes/rivers are good in the same general area come spring time. I have a pontoon boat and love stripping flies. What rivers and lakes are good for fly fishing come spring time and through the summer? What are some good patterns to tie up?
Thanks,
Justin

All of them are great fishing[laugh] Flies....well that changes allot, so hard to narrow it down. Woolly Buggers are always a good choice.

The Henry's Fork is starting to pick up now w/ wooly buggers and such. It will be good well into summer. By then there's the S. Fork of the snake, Ririe, Pali
es, Henry's, Twin Lake, the Snake below American Falls and that just scratches the surface. Just depends on what you want to target and how you want to catch them really.

Like others have said, you need to narrow it down to species and the size of fish you want to go after.

Ice off at Daniels has always been fun!! Good size rainbows to boot. I can"t wait to hit twin for some gills after ice out too.
