Minner, Dad and I loaded up at 2:30 and headed north for the Cumberland Steam Plant just south of Clarksville, TN. We 'necked it up really good, as we brought a deep freeze and a generator with us hoping for a big haul. We got there at 6 bells, and went skipjackless for the first 45 minutes. Finally Minner crossed the discharge, and I stayed on one side and we found 'em. Between Minner, Dad and I we landed 175 skipjack in about 3.5 hours. All cuaght on Foley Spoons and Marabou Jigs. We bagged and salted them all on site, and dropped them in the deep freeze. A good fun trip, and thank goodness for 5 Hour Energy! Tip: if you are going to make the trip, make sure they are pumping NO MORE than 33k.
