Out on a full day w/ Chappell Padgett, this was our 2nd trip together the last 2 months. Chappell and I had a great day on Carters Lake. We worked fishheads, dropshots, crankbaits, and jig head worms for our catch today. We also mixed in a little float n fly for good measure, but were unable to get any nice sized spots today on the fly. The fish head and crankbait were what the big spots preferred, we landed numerous big spots on each of them today.

Chap and I focused on mainlake windy points/humps throughout the day catching fish from 8ft on crankbaits to 48ft on dropshot worms boating around 30 fish total for the day. Our best spots weighed 4.51, 4.59, 4.87, also had a couple more over 3lb. Thanks again Chap for the trip, I really appreciate it.

I have a few days left open in January if anyone is interested in getting out to learn your electronics, fish head, dropshot, or even playin with the float n fly.....

LB
