Welcome Guillermo,
My wife has gone to the city of Cordoba a couple times for work. I have met individuals from there that have come to Utah, USA to see her. They told me a little about fishing for Dorado in the area but they didn't actually fish. If the opportunity arises for me to go with her on one of her trips I'd like to fish while there. Can you tell me a little about fishing techniques for dorado and tarariras? How big are they typically and how do they fight? What is the best time of year for this? Is there a time when the fishing is good in both Cordoba and in Patagonia for trout?

Riverdog:
You can fish dorado and tarariras in spinning, fly cast and traditional fishing. The best months for fish dorado are october to april. The Weight of dorados is until 36kg. tarariras until 6kg. Dorado and tarariras are only in center and nort of argentine, not in patagonian.
You can find in youtube "SHIMANO CURADO 300 DHSV" video to see fishing of dorados.

Thanks Guillermo,
How far a drive from the city of Cordoba do you have to travel to fish dorado? Can it be as a day trip? I asked my wife today if she's going back to Cordoba this next year and she said probably. If I came down in your summer I'd hopefully have time to also travel south for trout. I'll take a look at the youtube.

Nice video. That looks like my kind of fishing- moving water for big fish that attack and fight. You can bet my wife won't be going without me on the next trip to Argentina.
