Tried to hit the river in hopes that some of the early males had hit the river before they shut it down???? I've heard rumor that they are going to open the tributaries of ut lake.. I hope people use good harvesting skills my kids love too fish.. Any ideas where to try on the river would be appreciated. I know they stage on the flats pre spawn, and close holes to spawning beds. I was walking the path pithching my grub in eddies and slack water right who knows... Any way ended up with one small brown only fished few hours.. Would love to do some ice off walleyes with anyone I have a small boat nice reliable motor and nice humming bird gps fish finder just need a fishin buddie, besides the Wife.

FineDesign, the kiddo and I should be out there sometime this weekend. Its time to hit the open water. It may be cold, but not too icy. Maybe we can share some of this "new" water. It is always fun to meet others on the water. We should be at Lindon at about 2....not an early trip, but should be able to get into a few before dark.
