Fishing Forum

I am looking for a good fishing hole near or around waco texas. I have fished the Brazos River and not gonna lie but that water is nasty. Just getting into freshwater fishing, dont have a boat so mostly shore casting, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you go to Lake Waco, you will most likely get good catch there. I fished with a couple of my buddies there and we pulled in quite a few cats. A couple stripers between us all. We were using crankbait and then chicken hearts.
