Most true anglers know the importance of purchasing a license. The peer pressure argument doesn't make up for the hassle of losing a license or getting your line tangled up in it. If a warden is gonna board a vessel he's gonna do it whether or not you're displaying your license.

IT'S NOT ABOUT U HAVING A LICENSE OR NOT....BUT HAVE U EVER FORGOT TO HANG UR LICENSE AND LEFT IT IN UR TACKLE BOX....AND GOTTEN A TICKET...YES IT HAPPENS...NOW U HAVE A LOT OF FISH AND GAME OFFICIAL GIVING TICKETS FOR ANY REASON....I TALKED TO ONE OFFICER AND HE TOLD ME THAT WITH THIS NEW BUDGET CRISIS THEY HAVE TO SECURE THEIR JOBS, AND OFFICERS THAT GIVES OUT LESS TICKETS ARE MORE LIKELY TO GET FIRED FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOBS..
