Fishing Forum

I just got back from fishing this morning at the Berry. We launched at 6:00am and were into fish by 6:15. We trolled down to Mud Creek and out into the middle of the Res and were catching 1 every fifteen minutes. I was using a Chub Taildancer on a downrigger at 22-28 ft. The fishing was slow for many trrollers, but I did talk to a guy at the cleaning station with 1 cutt 23" and a 21 " rainbow and guess what he caught them on Kent???? Minnows.. I am going to have to break out my casting net. The average fish we caught was 17" we had a limit of 15"ers and released several over 19". Not a bad way to spend a day off.
