Can someone point me in the right direction to the
Upper Salmon River between the Middle Fork and the North Fork? Coming from Salt Lake City? Or if thats not the best place to come chuck some flies this weekend point me in the right direction? I would go back to the SF of the Clearwater but dont wanna drive another 9-10hours each way

If you are swinging flies I would recommend any where between Salmon and Owl Creek. You get down below the MF Confluence and the water it too deep to get the flies down fast enough to get them in front of the fish.

Salmon to Carmen has been good on the fly lately. I have also heard good reports for between North Fork and Shoup.
