Well it was everything we wanted it to be. Got there about 8:15 am and set out onto the ice....LOTS of slush.
Drilled a few holes (I really needed a gas auger) and got poles put in the water. It wasn't long and the perch were on. I set up one pole for perch and another for trout. After a while I had to set the secound pole up for trout as well. Landed several perch, rainbows and a few splake. The largest fish being a rainbow that was 19 inches. The biggest surprise was the 18 inch sucker I pulled out.
We were fishing in 35 feet of water and stayed untill 4:30 pm. Sun was shinning and there was a little bit of wind but not bad. But again the slush was horrible. There was about 6 inches of snow and 8 inches of really wet slush.
