I am open to bass, flyfishing what ever will get me the most action

I could have access to a boat so if there is a hot lake please let me know..

when can you fish for salmon & or steelhead? ( future trip)

what methods are popular

CJ Strike or Brownlee will probably be your best bet in June. Out of the two, I would say CJ would probably be more consistent, since the water level in Brownlee tends to be drawn down and fluctuate a lot more.

All the warmwater fish should be in the shallows and hitting like mad in June. There were days last June when I caught over 100 decent sized crappies (mostly released).

Brownlee hands down no question about it! Plus you got Oxbow and HC a few minutes away. CJ has some great fishing but the HC complex is far better!!!!!!!

If you want to stay closer to Boise, Lucky Peak should be great for kokanee. If you don't want to have to even leave Boise or have to use a boat, the Boise River can be good fishing. If you prefer fly fishing, just check with any of the fly shops in town for an up-to-date report. Mike
