nobody could top my weekend !
i didn't get a chance to toss a line . spent some time with an old pal that's getting ready for the big lake in the sky .
sometimes the best times fishing is sitting around talking about it . we had us a good time just recalling some of our trips together , some of the trips we should have gone on , and his upcomming adventure . his friends and family don't want to talk about the upcomming event , i'm his pal and if it gives him some comfort to get it off his chest , well then were gonna talk about it . and we did . had us a few laughs too !
it was a pretty darn good weekend with an old fishing pal , the kind i'll cherish for the rest of my days , him too , i bet .
