Hit pineview Saturday morning to film a couple of segments on Utah ice fishing. This being my first time on Pineview ice, I headed out from cemetary point and found fish immediately. Caught a lot of small perch with the occassional larger one mixed in.

I thought it was funny how the graph would show one or two larger fish toward the bottom but as soon as I dropped the spoon down, the screen would absolutely fill up with fish between 20 and 35 feet. When I pulled the spoon out, they were gone. I will put some video up as soon as I have a chance to get it edited.

Ice was a solid 20 inches and the weather was great.

How were the edges? Went to Hyrum yesterday and had to balance my way to the ice on a downed tree. Probably 4 feet of water at the edge before turning to ice again.

I fished in the morning and the edges were good. You could see where they had been melting in the past and I'm sure melted again later in the day with it being so warm. I left the ice at 10:30 and they were still completely frozen.
