well not all of Willard is iced over. I was just there today and north of the camp ground there is open water, maybe even enough to paddle a tube around in. probably not enough to get any good fishing in but it is there. Which means that it will only be a few more weeks until open water, enough to actually fish in.

I think I can wait for the open water, the fish aren't going any place. If I remember correctly last year some members got themselves in a pickle getting trapped by the ice out there in a boat. Not worth the risk, I've never done much good out there until the water temp hits the mid 40's, at least for the walleye. Bout time to get the boat out of mothballs and get her prepped for the season.[fishin]

I haven't seen him on here for a long time, he may have changed his user name I'm not sure. I think he was a Military member here on Base so he could have been deployed overseas as many are.

His name is JP I think he told me he was a cop or something at Hill. I sent him a PM a while back.... never got a response. I was wondering where the heck he has been. Same with BigFishWanted. Where are those guys? Hope they arent just lurking...lol I know BFW got a new boat so you know its not because they are not fishing...[sly][fishon]

Yea, I thought the guy I had up at the beginning was the right guy but I started looking at his post from last year and I could see that it wasn't. I did a search with the word Willard and found the right guy. He hasn't logged on since Dec no telling what happened. Here is his profile info:
