Hello Johnboy1, great to hear from an angler from the "Old Sod". My dad was born in Limerick at the turn last century and we were lucky enough to visit the old homestead in 2001. There truly are "40 shades Green", it was a great trip.

I've got a 12' PortABote (folding boat) and have seen lots of input from fellow Bote owners in England and the Scandinavian countries. Have you seen or heard of these boats in Ireland? They'd be a great means of boating/fishing given the narrow/rough roads in the countryside and plentiful lakes, ponds and streams in Ireland.

I'll watch for your inputs Johnboy1, welcome again to this Forum.
