So my wife went to Texas to visit her parents and took the laptop so I've been out of the loop for a bit. While she was gone I hit up strawberry (2/28) and iced a few and also hit up Blacksmith (3/6) and only had a couple hits.

Went to Bear Lake with Pops today and pulled out a Few Cutts. (If thats not what they are then correct me please, that is if you look at the pics) The first one we didn't measure but was probably the biggest, the other two were around 17" and 18". Caught them on the Down Rigger which was a first for me. I've caught fish before just trolling but never used a Down Rigger. It was pretty cool. My dad didn't caught anything though. When we finally found where they were the bite turned off or they were just mad at me. Was a good day and I might try to get back up there tomorrow if the wife lets me...

Glad to be back ( I might have an addiction problem to this site when I missed it more than my wife... Just kidding, but i did miss this site)

Yeah, I was 100% postive they were cutts but my dad kept saying they were Lake trout, so I became 99.9% postive. So I just wanted to make sure. Guess he's getting old and Confused.

Nice catch, one fish days are good days on the bear,, and you got a few. Where were you at, Over the rock pile, or along the east side somewhere? I am headed up with my dad in the morning, If you make it up look for us in the black and white smokercrap! (smokercraft) we'll probably be near ideal beach.
