Heh, spent half of last Thursday and Friday AM at FG fishing on soft water for Kokes. My fishing partner and I brought about 30 in total to the boat, most were gently released without leaving the water, but we did put a couple limits in the cooler for dinner. Tasty. Anyway, we found them near the surface and widely scattered, but maintained a fairly consistant bite - a fish every 10-15 minutes. We were using Jared's RMT stuff dragged at around 1.8 mph when the wind would let us go that speed (tough on Thursday). Average size I'd guestimate was 2 lbs, not huge but a blast to catch and a good way to start the soft water year at FG. We also tried to fish mac a little but the W was so nasty we had to run for the cover of the cliffs and troll.
