I'm planning on heading the ISE tomorrow (Friday) and was curious if anyone hit it up today and had a report for the rest of us.

I was there today with 2 buddies. Had a great time and enjoyed the lack of weekend crowd. I failed to visit with the Maniac lure guys- sorry and generally had a nice afternoon. I think I have my buddies talked into a Mexico fishing trip next year after checking out the different guide services.
And funny thing- the 3 of sat down to rest at a table and a couple minutes later another guy asked to share the table- sure, of course! And somehow he looked familiar... We chatted, he's from Highland, we are from Ogden, he has 2 boats, didn't sell one last summer, he has a hydroseeding business... wait a minute! The same 3 of us met this guy at the Vacation Inn in Lucerne last summer! Sure enough, we met him and visited in the drive and he and his buddy were in the cabin next to ours! Small world!

I went there tonight with my kids. Had a lot of fun. A lot of cool outfitters that I had to purposely avoid so that I would not give into the temptation of setting up a hunting/fishing trip. (My wife would kill me) Nevertheless, I picked up some free tackle from Maniac Lures and enjoyed watching my kids catch some fish. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get the most out of it.

Taking the family out there tonight. Looking more for the atv and tackle guys. Wife and daughter want to watch the splash dogs, go through the kids fair, and see the baby bear. A good way to spend a Friday night.

If you're planning on attending, better eat beforehand and make that first cast down those aisles with a full stomach.
More food vendors than ever. Philly steak/cheeze, Cold Stone ice cream, etc. Pretty tough to not go on the bite.

I will be headed out there tomorrow with daughter and wife. Father-in-law has a booth there for BEC so it will be a nice day out and my daughter will get to see Grandpa.

checked it out today before work. little dissapointed, more like the international book your guided hunt or chartered boat trip. visited maniac lures. didnt get much free stuff lol, bought some swim baits for yuba this spring, cant wait!
