Fished the Bear today with my dad who has not fished in several years!! had a fun time on the pond today . cool breeze but the sun was out! We ended up 3 cutts and 1 mack. All fish were cought trolling in around 60' and all were released un harmed!

Nice, I have been having good luck lately at BL too. But I haven't caught a Mack in a long time. I haven't made it as far as Cisco Beach yet. Maybe thats where they are hiding.

I am new to the board. Have been reading posts for the past couple weeks, finally we went out fishing again. So I thought I should give a report. My Dad, boy and I spent saturday March 20th at Bear Lake. We fished the rock pile an off of Gus's point. It was a little slow, caught 9 cuts trolling in 4 hours. A couple weeks ago, after we busted the ice out of the marina we caught 22 in the same amount of time many having cisco or white fish hanging out of their mouths. All fish caught on sat. were between 2-6 pounds and came from 60-65 feet deep. Marked on the finder what we figured were macks hugging the bottomw about 70-75 feet deep but could not get them to take anything. Maybe next time. Probably will head up again, in a couple weeks and try the east side.

Yes, that was Dan's boat. He caught a 7 lb mack and a 13 lber. The next day we tried that same area where we saw you but only managed a couple of small ones. Saturday was definitely the best day of the three we were there.
