Hi my name is Kevin from Maryland. Currently junior in University of Maryland College Park.
I love fishing but I am no where near expert level (though I would love to learn from you pros). I go to piers in Chesapeake Bay and cast a few rods and wait. However, I am very interested in using lures and fresh water fishing and different techniques for fishing instead of just cast and waiting with live bait.
I will be buying a canoe or kayak this summer to use for fishing so I am very excited about this summer

Glad you love the sport, and Welcome! Although i love to "live bait" fish from time to time, I (99.9%) use artificials. No Pro Here Either, but have been know to catch a fish or two! Best advice I can give is BE PATIENT! Invest a little at a time, Learn to use you gear, EXPERIMENT, and remember a Bass is a fish of 1000 casts at times. You have come to one of the best places for info, and there are many more, BUT: Time, Practice and Patience, will make you a better angler
