Well i was going to go to ririe for my last ice fishing trip of the year. I got there this morning and the wind was blowing way to hard for me. Its not very often I let the weather stop my fishing but it was just to windy to sit on the ice all day. So I think I will give in and call it good for my Ice fishing for this year.

This was my first year to ice fish. I would like to thank everyone who gave me some pointers it helped me to put 510 fish on the ice most of them were put back to fight another day. I did keep a few perch and kokanee and one trout. Not to bad for my rookie season . I never thought that it would be so much fun sitting on the ice and fishing but it is. I don't know if i will be able to fish with out looking at the flashing red, yellow and green lights[laugh] So again i would like to say thanks for the help.

After i got blown away from ririe i thought I would drive along the river around heise. The river is looking good ! I think it is time to put down the auger and go hit the river.
I will keep ya posted.

That is awesome..I thought my 25 inch 6lbs Brown that I caught in Shelly this last fall was big... chose not to have it mounted because I thought I could do better...man, I'm glad I didn't, after seeing your beast I see that mine wasn't that big after all...by the way...I caught mine on the 3rd cast using a red #6 "Blue Fox"...lure was huge, look like something you would use on Moby Dick[Smile]
