me and a couple other buddies are wanting to go bowfishing this weekend down to UL and are in need of some tips on where to go if any of you guys are willing? any info would be great thanks

[cool][#0000ff]You need to wait a few weeks. The water is still too cold. Only a few carp even show on the top and well away from the shore. Water temps are just over 40 degrees and the carp will not get active in the shallows until it warms another 20 degrees.[/#0000ff]

I went to Cutler Reservoir last Saturday to try and find some carp. It was definitely slim pickins, but we got a few. They aren't on the surface or near shore like they will be in a few weeks, but with some good polarized glasses and an electric trolling motor I would think you could get some.
