<br /> Lauren has all week off and today she said she wanted to go fishing. Of course I was more than happy to take her. <br /> Got to try out my new t bar rod holder system from Cabelas and troll for some crappie. Which by the way worked great for what I bought it for. <br /> The first 20 minutes were red hot. We only trolled 3 rods and I could hardly keep em in the water without fish on them. I use 2 jigs on each rod and she caught several 2 at a time. We'd get one on and I would take the rod out and hand it to her and she reeled em in all by herself. Before she could sit back down I'd be handing her another rod. Don't know exactly how many we caught but would guess close to thirty. I guess we hit it at the right time cause after about 20 minutes not another fish, like somebody flipped a switch. She insisted we keep some for dinner even though I had some thawing out already. One for her one for her brother and one for her sister since they couldn't go.(she's very thoughful) <br /> 9 feet of water various colors and jigs.
