Out today with Pastor Rick Shoop from Woodstock, GA. This was my 2nd trip with Rick since January. Rick loves to fish almost as much as I do LOL. We were on windy/wet Carters today trying to catch a big spot or two. Fishing is still slow here in North GA, the water temperature has finally got above 50 as we were 49-51 today. We fished from 8:30-3:00 and boated around a dozen spots and one slime ball. We fished a variety of baits today, jig head worms, jerkbaits, fish heads, crankbaits, and even a carolina rig, but most of the fish fell victim to the jerkbait. The slime ball was lost out in open water running with spots and it also bit a jerkbait. Our best 5 today weighed 13-14lbs, the big fish was the slime ball which was just over 4lbs. Rick also caught a spotted bass over 3lbs and we had a handful of solid 2-2 1/2lb fish to finish out our limit. We had a few rain showers that passed through but all in all the weather was nice. We pulled in the marina to take pics, so the lighting isn't great.

Great day with great company, thanks again for the trip Rick always enjoy fishing with you buddy. I'm gonna go wash out my livewell LOL.

LB
