<br /> I was able to con Cheez into coming to fish the Crackerfest with me and Cathead this AM, and we had a great trip. Crackers were VERY hard to find, but we managed to find a single bed, and it produced 20 keepers, the best 10 getting us into the money slot tied with the great Drumking for 3rd. <br /> We picked up 8 nice crappie while cracker searching, a yellow perch, one big gill, several small gills, several small bass, and a snake with a seriously full belly...<br /> During one of the many times Chezmo broke off his jig, he was oblivious to the fact the back of his 300 foot long boat was completely in the trees, (where I was sitting). There sat a fat and happy snake, so I picked it out of the tree, and thought about taking the long walk to give Cheez the up-close and personal view, but the look of fear...er..."You better not, I have a gun" look told me I better just let it swim back to its tree. <br /> It was great to meet some new faces, like Churly, Hal, and others, and the kids all looked mighty happy with the prizes they won. hats off to Churly, JSV, and everyone else that helped make this a success. Those that missed out should come next year! <br /> We left the weigh-in and went for some grub at Dockside, and then hit WT for some crappie to add to the well. We had a misshap with the cord on the T-motor, so we packed it in for another day. Enjoy the pics.
