Full Version: Clayton Fishing Guides Host 33rd Annual Take-A-Kid Fishing Trip, Sunday, June 6

The 33rd annual Take-A-Kid Fishing Trip will be held on Sunday June 6th in Clayton-1000 Islands, NY. The event is sponsored by the Clayton Fishing Guides Association in cooperation with the Clayton Chamber of Commerce. The contest is open to all youngsters ages 10 through 15 on June 6th, regardless of where you live.

Young anglers should submit their names through the contest website or by mail and on Sunday June 6th, 48 young anglers whose names are drawn at random from all the entries, will enjoy a professionally guided northern pike fishing trip in the 1000 Islands.

The names of 90 young anglers will be drawn on April 16th. 48 names will be drawn as winners and 42 as alternates, in the event that any of the winners are unable to attend. The winners will be notified by April 19th. Alternates will be notified by April 29th. Alternates have an excellent chance of participating due to drawing winner conflicts.

The 48 young anglers will fish with members of the Clayton Guide's Association on Sunday June 6th, 24 departing at 8 A.M. and 24 more at noon. The young anglers catching the largest and runner-up fish on each boat on each trip will win deluxe spinning rod and reel outfits compliments of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce and the 1000 Island Bait Store.

Submit email entries through the www.1000islands-clayton.com/fishing. Entries by email must be submitted by midnight April 13th.

Postal entries should be submitted on a post card and include the youngster's name, complete address, telephone number, date of birth, age, the name of the publication they saw the contest announcement in and the name of the outdoor writer who wrote the story. Address postal entries to Take-A-Kid Fishing Contest, 1101 State St., Clayton, NY 13624 and must be postmarked no later than April 13th.

Only one entry per person will be allowed. Duplicate entries will be discarded.
